Playing tennis since the age of 5, George Baird is one of the country's promising junior players. Being trained by Marc Paulik for the last 9 years and being ranked as high as #7 in NZ at age group level, George has consistently demonstrated his degree of talent on the NZ stage. George has won multiple singles and doubles tournaments at regional level, he has competed nationally and internationally. He has represented the Central Region at the National Teams Event in U12s and U14s age groups achieving a silver medal, and currently holds the U14 NZ national doubles title.

 

George's competitive and confident nature place him as top role model for Total Tennis' junior players. George has now begun coaching and his extensive tennis experience gives him a lot to offer younger students looking to improve their tennis skills.
